In the Nix of Time
With summer well behind us, and the holiday season approaching swiftly, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m going to need to get a watch if I plan on surviving 2009. With that said, I’ve been digging around in magazines, catalogs, websites, etc., trying to find a watch that works for me. My personal timepiece criteria read as follows: the watch must be lightweight, have personality(which generally means color in my wardrobe), it needs to work for longer than a week, and most importantly, the watch needs to come at a reasonable price.
So imagine my delight at flipping through this month’s Elle, Victoria Beckham gracing the cover, only to stumble upon a watch by Nixon that seemed to meet all the criteria, but unfortunately is intended to be worn by women. Not to fear, Nixon maintains a complete line of men’s and women’s timepieces in materials that range from fine metals to rubber, and most styles come in several colors.
